In 2003 we set up a Research and Development department, with a view to constantly improving the quality and the innovative character of our finished products.
Together with our clients and processing partners, we develop products intended for the health and wellness sector, which are widely distributed by the big retail chains as ownbrand products. We also develop combina-tions of flavoured teas that include medicinal plants.
Constantly Improving Quality
Herbissima have since 1998 taken pains to implement an HACCP quality policy, under the supervision of a quality manager. We operate to specifications drawn up in accordance with European standards. A whole series of controls are carried out on a regular basis (organoleptic, physico-chemical, bacteriological, pesticide residues).
Thanks to the cultivation, closely monitored by us, of numerous varieties of plants, both in France (Auvergne, Provence) and in several other countries worldwide (Paraguay, Poland, Bulgaria, Marocco, Tunisia and Egypt), we are in the position to guarantee both the volume of our supplies and their optimum quality.
So as to ensure the full reliability of the analyses carried out on our products,
we have acquired interests in a laboratory approved as a research and analysis pharmaceutical establishment.
